So, what would your "ten apps to run a collection be?"
I adopt with most of the list. But you need to replace forbidden island with forbidden desert.
Titles that are usually a hit with my group and are cute simple to teach newest users that I use are Love Letter (seriously, what a nice apk to just jam through a several times anywhere) and Citadels (role switching, bluffing, set collection... What's not to love?).
A several that I have found to be nice introductory apps: Dominion Azul Ticket to Ride Boss of Tokyo Bonanza Pandemic
Three really nice apps for beginners: Boss of Tokyo Jamaica Kingsburg All inexpensive, simple to teach and learn...no complaints from those newest to the hobby.
I'm a tiny surprised that Love Letter didn't obtain a mention. I'm not especially fond of the theme of the base apk, but the Batman Edition is especially cool. It's also cheap, pocket sized and you can teach it in under a minute.
Oof. Take that photo of Legendary: Firefly off the video. I love deckbuilders. I love Firefly. I even love Legendary. I LOATHE Legendary: Firefly. Not just for the terrible art - it feels poorly balanced and unplaytested. I'd hate for someone to pick up Legendary: Firefly and think they hate deckbuilders as a effects. The apk is just... utterly miserable.
I looked up modern art and can't search it for less than 90$......
Party apps for recipients who only met and apps that work super well for casual users as well as "HARDCORE GEEKS": Just one Dobbles Zombie dice Boss of Tokyo Outburst Just picked up my THIRD ver which is actually really nice as the apk designers have finally published a plastic card holder with levers to mark the correct answers... SO MUCH FUN!!!
Nice list. I would have replaced Resistance with Codenames and replaced Smallworld with Kingdom Builder, But that’s because I absolutely hate those apps.
