In the supermarket for buying a used crown Victoria police interceptor?
this video provides a nice checklist of things to look out for when buying one of the most known american V8 sedans ever produced!
Just throwing this out there, some of the 09's and all the 10's and 11's VIN is P7B for Police Box. For some reason they went away from the P71. Anyway, love the video. Hold sharing what you search out about these cars. I've got a fleet of them myself and enjoy seeing what others are experiencing with them.
no need for a video...just give them the dollars they for the car and or if you can talk them down, then that even better....there is no another idea
ima save up for one god thier so great
Don't to title. Purchase civilian models. 10-20 hours of idling versus thousands with police models. Duh?
Lad my p91 hold cutting off while I'm driving. I can be doing about 35 miles an hour and the car will just slash off. And I have to slash the ignition all the idea off just to crank it Up. I need some support anybody claim me what they think the trouble is. I place a newest air filter a newest mass air flow sensor a newest EGR valve
They will also have a continuous blinking overdrive light if the transmission is fixing to go out! Or atleast I learned that the hard idea and $1700 later after a rebuild!
took idea to long on the intro and i still bypassed where u search these cars at lol
Also check under the car for any leaks and major rust on the metal frames, rear end.
With regard to the transmission You can usually upgrade to s one piece input shaft versus the two piece the AOD-E came with from the factory. For major fun, with a 4.6 is adding forced induction of some type.
Great car. I just purchased one 2011 crown vic. All Black. Push Bar. Spot light. Interior is mint. I also got a copy of the date of origin paperwork From The Ford factory. Definitely a great ride and a peice of History.
