Paul pope is a terrible ass.
Can anyone further explain how yasutomo sumi ink degrades after two weeks of opening the bottle????
"Nice inking is like surgery; you wanna really create a precise slash". Nice tip, really like Paul Pope's drawing, Massive Liquid is wonderful.
obtain the sponge brush @ a hardware shop 50 to 80 cents
It's so inspiring to hear him speak, allow alone watching him ink. Thanks a lot for this! You're a legend.
his file stats only works if u aspire to a style and look much like his. which i dont suggest. paul pope is a phenom ,i just dont wanna see any clones is all.
@MPOSullivan cheers for that! Looking forward to giving these a go
@tab00lie They're now foam brushes. You can pick them up at most art supply shops. They can be used for all kinds of file, including glue. You can obtain a set of 48 (!) of them over at dick blick for about sixteen dollars. Just find for "foam bushes". And damn it if I'd never thought of using those to lay down some black.
I save my Sakura Brush pens to obtain great gradients like that. But I'm scared to use brushes like Pope or Amano. Plus I hold using the wrong ink....gotta test the ink he recommends.
does anybody know what those wide paddles are named which he uses to fill blacks?
