Think about this, Diavolo means the Devil in Italian. Diavolo takes over in a strange and Violent idea. It may be a life long demon possession that manefests in Boss Crimson

Easiest idea for you to understand: He uses an ability, Boss Crimson, which makes everyone else forget what happens during that time or maybe Diavolo also forgets dunno He also has other ability, Epitaph, that allow’s him see into the future. Side result? That future becomes inevitable. When Diavolo uses both of his abilities however, we obtain to see actual and most important power of Boss Crimson, not being bound by Epitaph’s future. Others will act according to the future Epitaph allowed him to see but Diavolo himself can do whatever he wants during Boss Crimson’s ability. For example allow’s claim Epitaph made him see everyone,including him, walking forwards, then no matter what he does they all will usually walk forwards. When he uses Boss Crimson they will still walk forwards except Diavolo will obtain a choice of not walking forwards this time. This is extremely needed because when fighting foes will usually attack the same position and he can simply dodge
