Andrea (the lab manager) is nice. I gotta confess. Any "wingeing" you hear from Brady Haran about how long this collab took is 100% real. We filmed this 4 years ago (!). He's bugged me to publish it each two months or so, so as a idea to express my sincere apology I'd like to humbly request that you go watch his video and consider subscribing on Objectivity. Also, if you do so, please leave a comment about how it was worth the wait and he could quit his wingeing. Here's his video. What have they learned?
I remembering reading that the US State Department gave a moon rock to each country in the globe as a sign of friendship, also some of those countries’ moon rocks have gone missing after coups/political turmoil
The only reason science doesn't obtain enough credit and gratitude from normal recipients is because how science evolved in the last 200 or so years. It discovered and invented so many things that recipients doesn't even realize how hard it is to do even a primary thing in a scientific research allow alone invention, discovery. Recipients just think okay they are knowledgeable so it gotta be simple for them. No, it's not simple, it never was. Countless recipients sacrificed so much for just a tiny progression for this globe, a lot of them didn't even know that later will it even be mentioned or not. If it's a truth discovered, it's important. So, thank you guys for working unbiased and real <3 It's so important to be real in this falsehood of a globe.
This was so cool and interesting to watch!!! I do wonder though, if when a rock sample is returned, does NASA expect the rock to be the same weight as it was when it was lent for research?
